I’m happy to announce that Upflow has once again achieved SOC 2 Type 2 compliance.
This rigorous attestation, now renewed following our initial achievement of the standard last year, validates our unwavering commitment to enterprise-level security for our customers’ data.
Why SOC 2 matters
When organizations are choosing a vendor, especially one entrusted with sensitive information, security is a top priority. And so it should be.
At Upflow, we take this seriously. We process revenue data, customer lists, and business communication details – information critical to our customers’ business success.
The space we’re in is an especially sensitive one and that’s why we’ve always maintained an uncompromising approach to security.
SOC 2 is a widely recognized security standard for cloud service providers. It assures our customers that Upflow:
- Designs and implements robust security controls
- Effectively operates those controls over time
- Safeguards the security, confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our customers’ data.
The reality is not all vendors in our space have SOC 2, let alone renew it.
This achievement highlights Upflow’s dedication to best-in-class security practices, ensuring our customers’ data remains protected.
What it means for our customers: trust and security
The SOC 2 Type 2 attestation provides independent, third-party validation and a stamp that shows we have a very high standard of data security.
The in-depth audit, conducted over a period of months, assessed the effectiveness of our security controls. Our recent renewal demonstrates that Upflow consistently upholds these rigorous standards.
I’d like to thank the teams at Vanta and Prescient Assurance for working with us through this process.
Looking forward: Security will always be a focus for Upflow
SOC 2 compliance is an ongoing journey, as demonstrated by this renewal. We constantly strive to improve our security, staying ahead of evolving threats and safeguarding our customers’ data.
